FAQ
Can I get my smog check and vehicle registration done in one place?
Yes. We provide most DMV registration services at the same counter — see the registration services page and call to confirm your specific transaction.
What should I bring for a smog check?
Bring your vehicle, the DMV renewal notice if you received one, and a form of payment. Make sure the check-engine light is off and your vehicle is warmed up by driving it before your visit.
