This Privacy Policy is a notice of how 6TH STREET & MACARTHUR SMOG TEST ONLY LLC (“6th St. & MacArthur Smog”) (“we,” “us,” “our”) handles information when you visit smogchecktracy.com (the “Website”). It covers the Website only. Information you give us by phone or in person at our station is used to provide the service you request.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide. The Website has no accounts, contact forms, comment sections or online payments, so it does not ask you to submit personal information.
Information collected automatically. When you use the Website, our analytics service and hosting provider may receive: your device and browser type, operating system, language, the pages you view, the page that referred you, the date and time of your visit, approximate location (such as city), a cookie identifier, your IP address (see Section 3), and your interactions with the Website, such as tapping the call button or phone number, requesting directions, showing, saving or printing a coupon, and clicking links to reviews or to the DMV listing. We do not use this information to identify you by name.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information through the Website.
2. How we use information
- To operate, maintain and secure the Website.
- To understand which pages and features are used so we can improve them.
- To measure how many visitors call, request directions or view our coupon.
- To comply with the law and protect our rights.
3. Cookies, analytics and similar technologies

The Website’s code does not include Google Tag Manager, Google Ads or remarketing tags, a Meta (Facebook) pixel, or other advertising or session-recording scripts. Our hosting provider and its network may set cookies and collect technical and security information about visits under their own policies.
Your choices. We do not currently offer a cookie-consent banner. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use private browsing, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Blocking cookies may affect how some features work.
4. Who receives information
Categories of third parties that may receive information from the Website: analytics providers (Google), mapping and font providers (Google), hosting and infrastructure providers (Wix.com Ltd. and its affiliates, “Wix”), and government authorities or others where required by law. These providers handle information under their own terms and privacy policies, including Google’s Privacy Policy, and we do not control their practices.
Tracking across sites. Google may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use features it provides on our Website, as described in its privacy policy.
Links to other sites (for example the California Bureau of Automotive Repair, the California DMV and Google reviews) are for your convenience. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
5. Selling and sharing
We do not sell personal information. We have not added advertising or remarketing tags to the Website. Google processes analytics, map and font data under its own terms; the controls in Section 3 let you limit that.
6. “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control
Do Not Track (DNT) is an older browser setting that asks websites not to track you; there is no common standard for responding to it. Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a newer browser signal that tells a business you want to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. The Website does not currently change how it operates in response to DNT or GPC signals. You can use the controls in Section 3 to limit analytics.
7. Retention
We do not keep our own database of Website visitors. Analytics data is retained by Google according to the retention setting in our analytics account. Delivery and security logs are kept by our hosting provider under its own practices. Information you give us by phone or in person is kept only as long as reasonably needed to provide our services and meet legal and record-keeping obligations.
8. California residents
California law gives residents certain rights over personal information, depending on how the law applies to a business. Where they apply, you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we have collected about you and how we use it;
- delete personal information we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate personal information; and
- honor your choice to opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information.
We will not treat you differently for making a request. To make a request, contact us as described in Section 12. We may need to verify your identity, and you may use an authorized agent. We will respond within the time the law requires. This policy also describes the categories of information the Website collects (Section 1), who may receive it (Section 4), how we respond to “Do Not Track” signals (Section 6), and how we tell you about changes (Section 11).
9. Children
The Website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Security
We use reasonable measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, to protect information. No website, network or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee security.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page and, for material changes, add a notice at the top of this page. Please review this page from time to time.
